If you are a grade 10 or 11 student who has a free A block, please pick up your course selection books and forms from the library quiet room or third floor conference room today during A Block.

GIRLS – are you an ambitious high school student curious about entrepreneurship, technology or science-based innovation? This is a great opportunity to build your resume, network with business people in Halifax, connect with students from other schools and to shadow a mentor to learn about owning, running and growing a business. Join us for FREE PIZZA on Friday at lunch in room 108 to discuss the Create Destruction Labs program that is held at Dalhousie University. Please see Ms. Joudrey in 207 or send her an email jjoudrey@hrsb.ca to let her know you want to attend so we have enough pizza for everyone.

Grads - The NSSAF Ron O’Flaherty Scholar-Athlete Award is now open. Students must be nominated by the school. Each school can nominate 1 male and 1 female student. To be considered, the student must meet the following criteria:
• Scholar-athlete must be a current grade 12 student and have a minimum of 85 percent average in five grade twelve subjects (a transcript must be included);
• Cannot be a returning graduate;
• Has been a participant in an NSSAF Championship event (District, Regional or Provincial);
• Demonstrated outstanding leadership, athletic ability and sportsmanship during their senior high school athletic career.
If you meet the criteria and would like to be considered for nomination, please see Ms. Lowe in guidance for more information. Deadline for submissions to the school is Thursday, April 11.
