Students are reminded to check their gnspes email for overdue textbooks notices. Please ensure all books are returned to the Library. Also, good luck to all Grade 12 IB students writing papers/exams this month - be sure to bring YOUR books back by May 31. :)

Volunteer Opp: Claire and Jocelyn will be here from Halifax Public Libraries to talk about student volunteer opportunities. Drop by their table in the caf at lunch on Tuesday, May 21.

The school year is winding down, and we are getting nearer to summer. Have you got extra school supplies that you don’t think you’ll use by the end of the year? Mountains of looseleaf or notebooks, stockpiles of pencils? How about donating them for a great cause? Get ready for CPA’s Project 7 Bible Club Stuff-A-Sack Campaign in support of Project Pag-asa, a school for orphans dealing with trauma in the Philippines. Thanks to some donations from Value Village Halifax, a backpack has been placed in your A block class. As a class, you can fill up the backpack with any school supplies you have, and it will then be sent to Project Pag-asa. We’ll be collecting supplies until the end of May, and you can look forward to a thank you treat in June. Your donations can help these kids escape the cycle of poverty through education!
