The CPA girls volleyball team finished their season in first place last night and won the Metro banner for the regular season. Very proud of their positivity, perseverance and teamwork all season.

There is a NSSSA meeting for all attending the metro conference today at lunch in room 108.

GIRLS CONFERENCE – All girls interested in attending this conference please come to a meeting in Ms. Joudrey’s classroom in 207 today at lunch. The Alexa McDonough Institute for Women, Gender, and Social Justice is pleased to announce that the 9th annual Girls Conference will be held on Friday March 6, 2020, at Mount Saint Vincent University from 8:30am-4:00pm.
Girls Conference Mission: To help this generation of Nova Scotian girls (ages 11 years and up) develop, appreciate and celebrate their own abilities and talents and those of other girls and women, to help them to empower themselves, build confidence, and be a positive influence in their communities.
Workshop Sessions We will have over 40 workshop presenters offering a wide array of important topics and expertise. Topics include self-esteem, body image, athletics/sports, mental health, career exploration, inspiring girls who share their stories and talents and many more. There will be a meeting at noon on Friday in room 207 for any students interested in learning more about the SHAD program this summer. Students with a strong academic foundation, who are natural go-getters, curious about the world, community-minded, creative and engaged are the type that excel at Shad.

The sitting fee is $20 if you wish to purchase a portrait package.  If you do not wish to do so, there is no sitting fee charge.  ALL GRADS MUST HAVE THEIR PORTRAIT TAKEN AT THE SCHOOL IN ORDER TO BE IN THE YEARBOOK!!!  DON’T MISS OUT!!!
Grads - Queens University - Chancellors Award Criteria:
• Superior academic ability - must have 90+ average
• Creative and original thinking
• Proven leadership qualities
• High school nomination required*
• You must have applied to Queens University before November 20th
